Delivery Policy
Thriving Kids

1. Delivery Areas
We deliver to:
- Mainland United Kingdom
- Non-mainland UK destinations (including Northern Ireland, Scottish Highlands, Channel Islands and Isle of Man)
- International destinations (by prior arrangement)
Delivery availability, charges and timescales vary depending on location.
2. Delivery Charges (Mainland UK)
Delivery charges are based on the actual cost of delivery and will be shown at checkout.
Large or Bulky Items
Items identified as large or bulky will incur an additional charge of £35 This will be clearly indicated on the product page or at checkout.
3. Delivery Timescales
- Standard delivery for in-stock items is 3–5 working days
- Working days exclude weekends and UK public holidays
- Delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed
Orders containing multiple items may be delivered in more than one consignment.
4. Non-Mainland UK Deliveries
Delivery charges to non-mainland UK destinations are based on the actual cost of delivery.
If the delivery cost exceeds the amount shown at checkout, you will be contacted before your order is processed to confirm whether you wish to proceed.
5. International Deliveries
For deliveries outside the UK:
- Delivery charges reflect actual courier costs
- You are responsible for any import duties, taxes or customs charges
- We are not responsible for delays caused by customs clearance processes
6. Delivery of Large or Heavy Items
Deliveries are made by our courier partners to the front door only.
Under most circumstances:
- Drivers cannot enter your property
- Drivers cannot assist with moving items inside
If you have ordered a large or heavy item, you must ensure suitable assistance is available at the time of delivery.
Enhanced Delivery Service
An enhanced delivery service (including additional delivery personnel) may be available for certain items at an additional cost. Please contact us prior to ordering for further details.
Incorrect handling or lifting of heavy items may cause injury or worsen existing conditions. Thriving Kids accepts no responsibility for injury or damage arising after delivery has taken place.
7. Delivery Dates and Delays
Delivery dates are provided as estimates only. Thriving Kids shall not be liable for delays caused by factors beyond our reasonable control, including courier delays, adverse weather, or supply chain disruption.
Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law.
8. Damaged, Faulty or Incorrect Goods
If your order arrives damaged, faulty or incorrect, please contact us as soon as possible:
- Damaged items: within 48 hours of delivery
- Missing items: within 7 days of the invoice date
Please retain all packaging, as it may be required for courier inspection or claims.
9. Important Delivery Guidance
When your delivery arrives, please:
- Inspect the external packaging carefully before signing
- If packaging is damaged, ask the driver to wait while you inspect the contents
- If the driver is unable to wait, you may refuse delivery and contact us immediately
If you accept delivery:
- Photograph any visible damage before opening the package
- Record damage on delivery paperwork or the driver’s electronic device where possible
Once goods are signed for, responsibility transfers to the customer. We cannot accept liability for damage reported after delivery unless there is clear evidence that the damage occurred during transit.
10. Missed Deliveries
Please ensure someone is available to receive your delivery. We are not responsible for:
- Missed deliveries
- Delays caused by incorrect delivery details
- Items left unattended at your request
